Boys Like Girls: The Soundtrack of Your Life Tour

A lot can happen in 20 years. You could release some albums, maybe even have a few hits. Maybe, you just might musically impact an entire generation with infectious pop-punk jams. That's pretty much exactly what Boys Like Girls did with their celebratory self-titled and 'Love Drunk' albums. Celebrating its 20th and 17th anniversaries (respectively), the band made the Boeing Center home to the Soundtrack of Your Life Tour for the evening, quickly filling up with nostalgic millennials who yearned to hear their old favorite songs live and in person. Myself included.

Aided in support from Arrows in Action and IDKHow ( I Don't Know How But They Found Me), BLG brought a powerhouse performance to the Boeing Center, with unmatched energy levels that only seemed to rise as their set continued. It takes a lot of work to play two albums, back-to-back, and in their entirety. Boys Like Girls made it look easy. Don't let the leather jackets fool you; these are musical professionals who have honed their craft for over 20 years, and are now reaping the benefits.
