Just because the weather gets a bit chilly, there’s still plenty of awesome sports activities around Alamo City this time of year. Whether you’re looking to stay warm inside and bowl a few strikes or brave the outdoors for ice skating or hiking, this wintery guide has a little something for everyone in it. One of the Big 12’s premier programs, the TCU Horned Frogs, take on #16-ranked USC in this powerhouse battle for the Alamo Bowl! This game is bound to be full of offensive fireworks thanks to star players like TCU quarterback Josh Hoover, who holds the fifth most passing yards in the nation, and standout USC wide receiver Malaki Lemon who’s leading the Power Four in receiving yards. You’re not gonna want to miss this epic bowl game!
Saturday, January 24th at the Alamodome (7:00 PM)
There’s nothing quite like hearing the thunderous roar of a monster truck engine as it readies for a spectacular leap through the air. That’s exactly what you’re getting at Monster Jam! See iconic trucks like Grave Digger and El Toro Loco tear it up in this awesome motorsports event.
