Together for Texas: A Benefit Concert at The Tobin Center
Photos by Sid Rodriguez-Tovar
The San Antonio community came together for an evening dedicated to a special cause, including several people who drove in from Austin, Kerrville, and beyond. In response to the devastating floods in the Hill Country over the 4th of July, the Will Smith Foundation, Frost Bank, The Tobin Center, and comedian/host Steve Treviño crafted a lineup of musicians and comedians that just wanted to do their part.
Streamed live for those at home to enjoy with the in-person crowd, the night saw musical performances from Jamie Lin Wilson, Dale Watson and His Lone Stars, Bri Bagwell, Lyle Lovett, Lisa Morales and her son, Thomas Spencer, Reckless Kelly, David Ramirez, and Los Lonely Boys. Additional comedic relief was sprinkled throughout the night with guest features from Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias and local comedian Selina Gomez.
Check out our photo recap from that night!
